England Women face France at Stade Ernest Wallon in Toulouse on Saturday 25 July, KO 6pm(CEST).
The game gives an opportunity for Stuart Barrow to get his side together ahead of the 2026 Rugby League World Cup, which is taking place in Australia later in the year.
The squad features six potential debutants, including 28-year-old Wigan Warriors middle Mary Coleman. A former rugby union player with Preston Grasshoppers, Coleman made her Wigan debut against Featherstone Rovers in the 2022 Betfred Women’s Challenge Cup.
She was named in the England Knights Performance Squad later that year before progressing to the senior England set-up. She is selected alongside eight Wigan team-mates.
Leeds Rhinos have five players included, with 20-year-old Evie Cousins selected after her try-scoring return from injury against Huddersfield Giants on Sunday. A product of England’s DiSE programme, Cousins made her senior debut in 2024 and has continued to develop in 2025, scoring ten tries in 11 league and cup appearances.
St Helens have four players selected, while Tamzin Renouf represents York Valkyrie.
Saturday's meeting will be the first in two years, with England defeating France 42-0 on that occasion.
Anna Davies scored twice, meanwhile, Georgie Dagger, Paige Travis, Amy Hardcastle, Zoe Harris, Eboni Partington and Emily Rudge all scored for England on that occasion.
Barrow's side will be looking to continue their unbeaten run against the French.
